Needham Children’s Center, Inc. (NCC) has a long history of providing nurturing care and demonstrating a deep commitment to children and their families. NCC first opened its doors in September 1980 at The First Parish Unitarian Church, enrolling twenty preschoolers and four toddlers. Just a year later, in 1981, NCC was invited by The First Baptist Church to also open an additional center and expand to include infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
In 1984 our Afterschool program was added and in 2021 NCC added Neighborhood Nursery School to its family of programs. Neighborhood Nursery school is a well established Needham preschool program focused on learning through play. NNS follows the Needham Public Schools calendar Over the years, NCC has continued to grow while staying true to its mission.
